This database was compiled primarily from the Joint Army-Navy Assessment Committee's Japanese Naval and Merchant shipping Losses During WWII By All Causes and cross referenced with Jentschura, Jung and Mickel's Warships of the Imperial Japanese Navy, 1869-1945 and various Internet sites.
